Junction Workshop is a welcoming space offering one night and multi-week classes on furniture making, woodworking, and related projects.  Housed in a professional wood shop within a creative community on Sterling Rd, we're not your typical DIY studio. Our classes offer a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced furniture makers, using high quality tools and a mix of traditional and contemporary techniques. No matter your level of experience, we'll work with you to create beautiful objects, enjoy the process, and learn how fine woodworking pieces come together.

Our last class this spring is a leather working workshop on Saturday, June 3rd.

After that, we'll be closed for the summer and posting new workshop in September 2017.

Our instructors are all professional furniture makers, designers and artists with years of experience. There are two instructors per class and we keep class sizes small to allow for a uniquely collaborative and relaxed learning environment.

Our focus is teaching the skills necessary for students to complete a project and create something beautiful by hand. We introduce the woodworking concepts and principles needed to undertake each project.  Through the process of making, we allow students to become comfortable working with professional woodworking machines and hand tools.

We also offer customized team building classes for businesses and organizations as well as one on one instruction at $75/hr. Please be in touch if you'd like more information about those options.
